Midwifery Council points 5+ 5 for reflection
Our speakers are leading
researchers in the field of preeclampsia. We have confirmed that Professor
Robyn North and Professor Lesley Mc Cowan will again be the presenters at our
study day. There will also be case studies presented by midwives.Topics for the day include pathophysiology of preeclampsia,
detection and management as well as prevention. The small for gestational age
(SGA) baby is also discussed and an update on prevention, diagnosis and
management of pregnancies affected by SGA will be presented. All presentations are aimed at providing
practitioners with information to enhance their practice.
